Music has always lived inside me.
It’s in my DNA — a part of who I am, not just what I do. Even as life throws its chaos my way — being a full-time venue manager, a father, a husband, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach — somehow, music always finds a way through. It’s my release. It’s how I blow off steam, process life, and stay connected to who I am at the core.
Like BJJ lets me physically reset, music is how I free my head and soul.
I’ve been making music in one form or another for decades. I’ve signed record deals, toured nationally, and shared stages with legendary bands. I’ve spent nights grinding in studios, teaching myself how to record, mix, and master. And now, I’ve evolved once again — becoming a composer and creator of heavy beats under the banner of Bobby Makes Music.
Wherever I’ve been in life, I’ve pivoted to keep the music alive. It’s the dream that keeps morphing, but never dies.
🎸 Lessons from the Journey
As a band member, I learned that signing a record deal — the so-called holy grail — isn’t the finish line. It’s just another starting point. A record deal doesn’t pay the bills. It doesn't slay the dragon. You have to fight your way forward with business smarts, not just dreams.
As a producer, I realised that service comes first. It’s not about my vision — it’s about honouring someone else’s art. I had to learn to let go of creative attachment and play the supporting role with heart and humility.
As a beatmaker, I’m still learning. I’ve chosen to enter one of the most niche music markets out there: heavy, hard-hitting metal beats for vocalists and creators. It’s not a path paved with shortcuts — but it’s the music I want to make. It's the legacy I want to leave for my daughter. And right now, I'm figuring out how to find my people — those who feel the same pulse I do.
And through it all, I’ve learned there are no guarantees. There are no rules. You can achieve what you want, but you may need to redefine what success looks like — not once, but many times. That’s not failure. That’s evolution.

🧠Why Bobby Makes Music Exists
This isn’t just a brand name.
It’s the sum total of my life so far.
It’s a banner I carry for every creative person who feels buried under life’s responsibilities. The busy parents. The working professionals. The people who once burned with creativity but now feel like they’ve had to snuff it out in the name of adulthood.
I want you to know — you don’t have to choose one or the other.
You can still make art. You can still create. You can still release that part of your soul, even if it’s 10 minutes at a time. Even if the house is chaos and the day’s been brutal. That creativity deserves to breathe — and so do you.
I’m also building something for my daughter — a library of sounds, emotions, and stories that she’ll one day find. I hope my music inspires her to walk her own creative path, in whatever form it takes.
And for the vocalists, rappers, singers, and content creators who feel at home in heavy music — I want us to collaborate. To create something wild, powerful, and new. To take each other’s sparks and ignite something none of us could have made alone.
